Digital Marketing Campaign & Social Media Management

The Brief

Meg Rivers - Bakers of Happiness came to us with a challenge to increase their newsletter database, and optimise their email marketing activity, alongside their social media activity. They needed to reinvigorate their social marketing activity, as it had become a burden and something the owner of the brand freely admitted she struggled with.

We agreed to work via a retainer, which could be adjusted up and down where demand required it. We provide the client with regular communication, and log activity in a live document they can access. Results and recommendations for improvements are provided monthly.

Social Media Management

Being a step removed from the brand, we are able to shout about how fantastic they were, without any constraints of modesty. We spent the first few weeks analysing their past activity, discovering how each social channel performed in terms of engagement and conversion. A strategy was proposed and agreed upon, and then implemented.

Since taking over the management, we have tripled their Instagram following. This was achieved by regular posting, optimising hashtags, utilising the Instagram Story function, and collaborating with other accounts to run competitions.

A particularly exciting campaign we helped launch was the #randomactsofcakeness campaign - where people can nominate those they think are deserving recipients of a sweet surprise, and one worthy winner is selected monthly for a surprise cake to be delivered. The campaign was launched on Instagram, and has proven successful in terms of social media reach and engagement. It has also resulted in a local newspaper feature on the campaign, that was secured via a press release we wrote and distributed for the campaign.

Partnership Management

Meg Rivers wished to increase their email database to further optimise a highly effective aquisition channel.

We created a promotional media pack to present to potential partners, highlighting the key attractions and benefits to collaborating with Meg Rivers on an opt-in competition - including their audience reach, enagagement stats, social reach etc.

We have secured a partner to collaborate every month and to date this has returned nearly 10k in new subscribers.
